Get ready for St Luke’s Guiding Lights, which will be beaming through Plymouth in summer 2026 with a spectacular trail of stunning lighthouse sculptures. Mount Wise Primary School painted their very own Little Lights Lighthouse which will be on display during the trail at The Box Museum.
The trail will run from Monday 6 July to Sunday 13 September 2026. After being on show to the public for 10 weeks, the sculptures will find their permanent homes when they go under the hammer at a grand auction finale on 1 October 2026.
Imagine wandering through the bustling streets of Plymouth and along the beautiful waterfront, uncovering one stunning Lighthouse after another, each bearing the creative imprint of local and regional artists and proudly sponsored by local businesses.
Working in partnership with Wild in Art, this colourful and exciting art trail will engage local communities, schools and businesses, and bring thousands of visitors into the city. All the while raising awareness of St Luke’s and the importance of the care we provide. Mount Wise Primary School are proud to be part of such a wonderful project.
We are incredibly proud to announce that our governor and local ambassador, Reverend Sue, will be the chair of the brand new 'Pride in Place' board, that will seek to use £2 million a year for the next ten years to establish strong grass roots community projects across Devonport, Mount Wise and Morice Town.
