Introduction

 

Welcome to Year 6.

 

Your teachers for this year will be Mrs Cummings and Mr Kowalski.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hi, I'm Mrs Cummings and am passionate about all things creative - and love art and design. I also have

an interest in directing stage productions too.

 

Hi, I'm Mr Kowalski and I love everything to do with English! I enjoy reading all types of books - in particular adventure stories.

 

Our PE days will be on FRIDAY each week. So please ensure that on this day you come dressed in PE kit (plain white t-shirt and black shorts with trainers).

Tools for learning

Pupils use the following tools to help them learn more and remember more.

 

1. Knowledge Organisers- pupils use this tool to understand what knowledge they will learn.

2. Tiered Vocabulary - pupils use this tool to identify the vocabulary that they will learn and how to organise it into words they use every day, words they use generally and words that are specific to this topic.

3. Graphic Schemas - pupils use this tool to help them make links in learning.
