Mrs Raftery      

Hello I am Mrs Raftery and I am the Maths Leader across the school.

Here are three facts about me: 

1. I have been teaching for 10 years 

2. I studied at the University of the West of England Bristol

3. I have two children

Miss Cooper

Hi! I am Miss Cooper and this is my third year here at Mount Wise. I have worked across all year groups but my preference is in upper Key Stage Two. I studied at Plymouth University and I did my final teaching placement here at Mount Wise. In my spare time I enjoy going on long coastal walks and visiting the beach.

P.E

Our P.E day will be on a Wednesday. Children are allowed to come to school in their P.E clothes. P.E kit should consist of black shorts/black tracksuit bottoms, a white t-shirt and black trainers.

After school clubs

If your child is attending an afterschool sports club they are to bring their P.E kit to school and change into it at the end of the school day. 

Homework

We ask that the children access Times Table Rockstars at home to help support their times table knowledge - 3 times a week for only 15 minutes would be great! Alongside this, there is an expectation that children should read their school book most evenings in order to complete Accelerated Reader quizzes.
