Hello, I am Miss Thompson, and I’m excited to be starting my journey as a teacher here at Mount Wise.

After qualifying as a teacher, I have had the privilege of working at Mount Wise for the past three years as a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant. Now, I am thrilled to take on this new chapter in my career.

I’ve always been passionate about helping children express themselves and grow with confidence. With a Fine Art degree, I love bringing creativity into the classroom, and I especially enjoy teaching maths and science—hands-on experiments are a favourite!

Outside of school, I enjoy nature walks with my many siblings and spending time creating—whether that's something small and simple or a big imaginative project.

Key Information

Our PE day is Wednesday and all children are required to wear their PE kits to school -

a white t-shirt, black or blue shorts, socks and trainers. Every child must also have a water bottle.

Homework

10 minutes of daily reading and 10 minutes of TTRS is the only homework in year 3/4. However, some additional tasks maybe set across the year to support learning that taken place in the classroom.
