Hello and welcome to Year 6 Owls!
Hi! I am Miss Cooper and this my fourth year here at Mount Wise and I am so excited to be teaching Year 6 Owls this year. I am passionate about guiding children to become the best version of themselves; watching them grow and thrive within the classroom setting is my goal.
I studied at Plymouth University and have a special interest in the subject History. In my spare time I love to go to the gym and spend time with my family- usually on long coastal walks.
PE
Our PE day is on a Friday, children are to come to school in their PE kit. We expect children to wear black shorts/tracksuit bottoms, a white t-shirt and black trainers on PE days.
Homework
We ask children to access Times Table Rockstars at home which will help to support their times table knowledge. We also ask for children to read, at a minimum, of three times a week so they are able to complete Accelerated Reader quizzes, which will develop their vocabulary and comprehension. Children have their log in details for AR and TTRS in their reading records.
