Safeguarding during the Summer Break

During the school holidays, the safeguarding team only monitors their email address weekly. If a child is in immediate danger, call 999. For other serious or urgent issues, contact Plymouth Local Authority Children's Services directly on 01752 668000 rather than waiting for a reply here.
Children and young people can contact Childline free and confidentially on 0800 1111.
Parents and carers can contact the NSPCC helpline on 0808 800 5000.
If a child or young person is struggling with their mental health, they can text YM to 85258 for free, 24/7 crisis support. Parents wanting advice can also contact the YoungMinds Parents Helpline on 0808 802 5544.

Book and Football Lovers Meet Matt Oldfield
Wed 01 Jul 2026A selection of Key Stage 2 children had a wonderful morning at Foulston Park, where they met the author Matt Oldfield. The session had read alouds from Matt, questions and answers, and a quiz based upon his books. All the children were brilliant with their knowledge and engagement, earning them a signed book. Thank you to the amazing Plymouth Libraries for organising this event.
