Reading at home.
We have two types of books that support pupils home reading. One type that pupils can decode and are matched to the stage of pupil learning in school. These are linked to the national scheme Read Write Inc. The other type of books are our reading for pleasure books. They are ones where families can share a text, but families might need to support pupils to decode. These are linked to the national company that we benchmark our reading books against. This is called Accelerated Reader. Pupils can take a quiz on each book they read. Click on the image below to find out more.
